First, the word.

destila / des·tí·la / — Spanish · verb

1. it distils — draws the essence out of a mixture, drop by drop, and lets the rest settle away.

2. (us) draws the few signals that matter out of a supply chain's noise, so the people running it can give their full attention to what is really important.

We named the company after the act itself. In Spanish, destila is what a still does: apply heat, let the vapour rise, and catch only the drops worth keeping.

That is the whole idea. A supply chain throws off more signals in a day than any team can read — orders slipping, forecasts moving, materials running thin. Somewhere in that stream are the few moments that genuinely deserve a practitioner's judgment.
